Introduction
The Cashbook Dashboard is the central hub for managing financial transactions within the Pay Module of your ERP system. It offers a clear and comprehensive view of all cash inflows and outflows across multiple bank accounts, ensuring you have up-to-date financial information at your fingertips. This guide will walk you through the various features of the Cashbook Dashboard, helping you effectively monitor and manage your financial activities.
Accessing the Cashbook Dashboard
To access the Cashbook Dashboard:
1. Log in to XFlow.
2. Navigate to the PAY module from the top menu.
Dashboard Overview
The Cashbook Dashboard is designed to provide a snapshot of your financial status, featuring several key components:
Bank Account Selection
- Functionality: Allows you to switch between different bank accounts to view specific transactions.
- How to Use:
1. Locate the 'Select Bank Account' dropdown at the top right corner of the dashboard.
2. Click on the dropdown and select the account you wish to view.
Financial Summaries
- Opening Balance: Shows the initial amount in the selected bank account at the start of the period.
- Total Received: Displays the total amount of money received in the account during the selected period.
- Total Paid: Indicates the total amount of money paid out from the account during the period.
- Closing Balance: Represents the net balance in the bank account at the end of the period.
Transaction Table
- Columns:
- Payment Date: The date on which the transaction was recorded.
- Payment Details: Brief details about the transaction.
- Document No: Reference number for the transaction, useful for tracking and reconciliation.
- Debit/Credit: Shows the amounts debited or credited to the account.
- Interactions:
1. To add a transaction, click on the Add Cash Book Entry button.
2. To edit or view more details about a specific transaction, click on the transaction in the table.
